How to Find Keyword Frequency in a PDF

  • Upload the PDF you want to search.
  • Enter one or more keywords, separated by commas.
  • Click Find Keyword Frequency to count how often each keyword appears in the document.
  • See the count and percentage of total words for each keyword in the results panel.

Example

A 5,000-word annual report where "revenue" appears 24 times gives a frequency of 0.480%. Searching for "revenue, profit, loss" shows each word's count and frequency side by side for quick comparison.

Common Use Cases

  • Checking how often a specific term appears in a contract or legal document.
  • Analyzing keyword density for SEO-related content review.
  • Finding how frequently a topic is mentioned across a report or whitepaper.

FAQ

  • Is the search case-insensitive? Yes — "Revenue", "revenue", and "REVENUE" are all counted together.
  • Does it match partial words? No — keyword matching is by whole word. Searching for "profit" will not match "profitable".
  • Is my file uploaded anywhere? No — all analysis happens entirely in your browser; the PDF never leaves your device.
